Simultaneous Game Save?

Has there been any thought to providing a game save ability during simultaneous movement? Sometimes I spend a lot of time on my turn and it is not always convenient to do it all in one sitting.

Wish there was, I hate going thru 1/2 hr of turn 'thinking' and 'tinkering' only to be just hitting the turn button and having my CRAPPY computer re-booting or the game producing an exception/access error. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon9.gif
