hey i heard a lot of praise about ringowlrd umm may i ask who wrote it i think ill go out and buy it

It's actually now the "Ringworld Trilogy". Book one was "Ringworld", book 2 was "Ringworld Engineers" and book 3 is "The Ringworld Throne".

All based, of course, in Larry Niven's "Known Space" series, which encompasses a LOT of books...

Thanks for correcting me - been a while since I read 'em. Question: Did Niven also write Integral Trees and is that also part of "Known Space"??

Yeah, Niven wrote Integral Trees. I don't think it was part of the Known Space series, though...

Actually IIRC its called Ringworld Engineers and there was a sequel as well....good books. If you like it, also consider checking out Niven's Jesus Incident and Lazarus Effect.
