Suddenly a AI player thats brotherly to me and that I have a partnership with declares war with me because someone has faked a message to them.
I know its a faked message because I get a report that someone have faked Messages.
This is very irritating because it happens everytime Im in a war with someone , they fakes some Messages and suddenly Im at war with everybody.
Very very irritating and all to easy to do , it makes alliances useless.
Everyone is just faking war declaratíons all the time.

How do I stop this???

Option 1: Increase your counter-intelligence. This should help, as I think that for a faked message to succeed it has to beat the counter-intelligence for both parties.

Option 2: Fake Messages to everyone else. If the enemy is at war on multiple fronts, they won't be able to focus entirely on you.

Option 3: If your allies are so foolish so as to believe a obvious ruse such as that, then teach them a lesson by destroying their empire under the heel of your boot. No one can stop you now, after all.

"Note: Option three is for G++++ players."

I've had only counter intelligence going for a long time to stop all the annoying sabotages but that doesnt seem to help.

I've already faked a couple Messages so the galaxy is now a very unfriendly place http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif.

Of course Im planning to crush them!
Dont have the resources yet thou , but Im working on it http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif.

Option 4: Wait for patch 1.42 which was supposed to have been ready Last month, it is supposed to fix the counterintelligence bug that makes most of your counterintel ineffective.
