I usually play to the end but a game I'm in now will probably be won by victory conditions. Any ideas on how to maximize VPs? We are playing with no intel.

Thanks

ahh, the cheesy way or the fair way?

the fair way is to get the most resource points out of every planet with robotoid facilities and system robotoid facilities and maxed out resource extractors, and to trade your research facilities for resource facilities, and prodouce as many ships in your fleet as you can afford to keep. build a fleet of construction cruisers and construct starbases at every major wormhole junction, because points for ships are based on tonnage and bases have got tonnage in spades.

the cheesy way is to have each planet build starbases with nothing but crewquarters and lifesupport, and pile up as many as you can at each planet. of course, if you do something lame like that, everyone will hate you, and you will quickly build up a reputation as a cheesy player.

Thanks, I think I'll stick to the fair way...
