That should really be made into a sticky.

I find myself in agreement. It has been done.

Or add it to the Tools and Tutorials sticky.
Otherwise all the items in the stickies will want their own sticky. :)

And thus I'm one step closer to manifesting my evil plan for world domination!

It's a really good guide though. I feel kinda bad for never having contributed any sprite stuff myself. Maybe I will, but the priority remains making them rather than documenting how I make them I guess.

The quality of things listed in the stickies is generally quite good. However, I consider the sprite editing guide to be such a crucial piece of information, especially when it has the sprites attached that it needs a permanent sticky. The effort is exceptional and the modding forum is the first place people look for that kind of thing. It's also one of the frequently asked modding questions, how to do sprites and where to get the Dom3 sprites.

I would prolly pay cold, hard cash to watch a video tutorial of Burn or Sombre while they make new graphics. :D

Me too, but not to learn about making sprite graphics. :D

That's a useful guide to know, thanks.
Apart from having very little free time for the last few weeks (even had to drop a game), what's been holding me up more than anything were the sprites. I spent hours on just one and its alternative form, and they still sucked - I'm not a good artist. I'd do much better starting with small cosmetic alterations to existing sprites.

Yeah, I'd just like to remind everyone that my offer the give constructive criticism on all the graphics posted on the tutorial thread still stands.
