Mega Evil Empire settings?

Hi,
Can somebody explain the Mega Evil Empire settings in the settings.txt file please.

AI Uses Mega Evil Empire := True
AI Mega Evil Empire Threshold Score Thousands := 500
AI Human Mega Evil Empire Score Percent := 170
AI Computer Mega Evil Empire Score Percent := 250

1) AIs will follow the following MEE rules
2) No empire is MEE unless they have at least 500,000 score
3) Humans are MEE if they have 170% of the 2nd place player's score.
4) AIs are MEE if they have 250% of the 2nd place player's score.

And, just FYI, there is a setting in each of the AI Anger files governing how much more angry they get each turn after Mega Evil is triggered. The default is +50, which is a LOT. They can go from "brotherly" to "murderous" in two turns. This seems a bit sudden to me. I've reduced this setting in my AI files so they take a bit longer. A setting of +20 or +30 is plenty. You'll never be able to compensate for that very long even by bribing them with huge gifts.
