It got a little less land provinces than what I was planning, but oh well, it probably is something someone wants since I haven't seen a this small map that is wraparound (and actually with land that wraps around) before.

The map name has absolutely nothing to do with the map itself.

EDIT:

26.4: Removed province connection between 23 and 34.

Elmoki,

We've been using this map a lot in blitz and it's great but we wanted fixed starts. I did up a version with 4 starts. Hope you don't mind I edited it.

Here it is:

Cheers,
Maer

Oh yeah, no problem, that was the whole idea. I leave the maps without starts just for that - so that people can (or have to, depends on viewpoint) edit them for the amount of players they want to play with.

The "official zip" of a map can easily include one fairly large image file and multiple extremely compressed .map files. The .map files can all refer to the same image but name the map slightly different for selection in the game setup menu. I would like to see maps make multiple offers. Vanilla, SemiRand, Nation Starts, NoIndependents, AI loaded, (Chaosed?). Not all maps. But some of the more popular well-done ones like this one.

I happened to read through a random mp game thread and found following:
Possible map bug discovered: #23 (Tirannea) borders #34 (Robber Home). They're not adjacent on the graphical map.
...and since it's a really small thing to fix, fixed it straight away. Updated map is in the first post.
