Who rated me? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/confused.gif I wasn't aware that I am good enough to get a rating.

Click on "my profile".
I can see that I was rated by dogscoff, Deathstalker, Markavians, suicide_junkie and Atrocities.
Thanks to all of them!

My profile only shows the total number of people who ranked me, (and the average ranking)
It does show who I ranked, so thank you for ranking me http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I ranked both of you guys. But don't thank me, I should be thanking you for all your awesome work.

But anyways, who the heck ranked me? The only things I ever contributed were a mount in Deathstalker's Mount Mod and a compilation of all the ship formations out there (which I doubt anybody cared about). Nothing really worthy of a rank, IMHO.

SJ, is that "Ontario, CA" in Canada or California?

You asked for it. So here you go

maybe i have to post again? testing.. testing..

edit: nope. it shows up when i edit my profile, but not on the board. i even made sure that the 'let others see your rating' thing was enabled.

as a side edit, your sig no longer shows up as text when you edit a post. you do, on the other hand, have the check box at the bottom (and many other features).

See discussion of rating in thread: "New posting abilities/lack thereof" for reasoning on the 5-star Ratings for everyone...

Although it looks like someone gave LemmyM only 4 stars...

Edit: Lemmy, I gave you a five-star rating so you wouldn't feel left out; and a five-star to Chewy, too. And, as requested, I gave a one-star to Puke...

5 people were generous enough to rate me at one star, but for some reason the board is not displaying it. whats the use in having a low rating if no one can see how lame i am? what if a newbie gets confused and thinks im a nice guy?

maybe i should report it as a bug to the forum admins?

I think the names have something to do with the Quakers or the Amish. I'd imagine they make a lot of money in T-Shirt sales.

There is a town named hell somewhere, I know it is in one of those M states, just can't remember which one. I remember when I discovered that in 4th grade, ahhh, the hilarity never stopped.

And there's a town in Arizona called Picket Wire which is a deformation from a french word: Purgatoire (purgatory).

Who knows if Ontario was really a native tribe name or something else altogether?

We also have Why, Santa Clause, Punkin Center, and several other interesting town names here, along with one of my all-time favorite landmark names, Silly Mountain. The people who came to Arizona before the advent of air conditioning were truly an interesting breed. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif

Some of my Favorites here in Pennsylvania are the towns Mars and Apollo, plus Moon Township.

We also have North Versailles, pronounced "ver-SALES" (rather than the French "vair-SIGH").

hmm, weird, my avg rating is 4.38, and 6 people have voted, so total points would be 4.38 * 6 = 26.28, now how did someone give me a 4.28, or 3.28, or anything with 0.28??
