If so, can you add a new AI subroutine that
picks weapon mounts solely by FIREPOWER?

I ask this because I had this kickass mod
set up on my old computer that had a naval
bent, with twin normal turrets (think 5 inch),
Triple Heavy Turrets, or even QUADRUPLE heavy
turrets.....

Damage ratios were insanely high....but the AI
never used the powerful weapons mount options,
sticking to the old NORMAL/MEDIUM/HEAVY mounts,
even when they had TRIPLE mount options that
offered 400% the firepower for 30% more space!

(Nitpicking but...) Shrapnel do not and never have made or released patches for SEIV. Shrapnel sell the game. It's programmed and maintained by Malfador Machinations (http://www.malfador.com)

Anyway, yes, patches are still being released. Go to Malfador's website and there you'll find an email address for sugeestions like the one posted here.

I agree BTW - a little more control over how the AI uses mounts would give modders ad AI makers a lot more freedom.

Well since it comes off of our bandwidth I would have to disagree with you http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif .

Put your best ones at the end, and the AI will choose them.
