Yeah, I got sick of Jotenheim sending my SCs to Kokytos, so I decided to build Juggernauts instead. I have well over 100 now.

Can Jotenheim or Pangaea blood sacrifice? If not, they're pretty much screwed at this point.

Not yet, no... I have no idea if this dominion push will actually work. Even if it does, it will take (game) years, lots of time for everyone else to try to kill them.

I think its ok to leave the game rolling with minimal supervision, Anaconda. You've been a great admin and I don't think any of us expect you to put more time into it.

The supervision is at the minimum already - however while playing a game thats not going anywhere even for mi self I can experiment with spells, summons and such so its not that boring. Let us find out who is the winner, after all we have gone through.

Yeah, I've been reduced to a defensive posture relying on vampires and expensive measures to fend off pangaea's waves of undead. Marignon is still in the way too..

Have you tried Moose Riders? Archers work well against undead.

Hmm, I discounted them early as silly and never looked at them again. Perhaps a few mooses are in order ^^.

They are overpriced... but they serve a niche if you're short of woodsmen archers to recruit

I'm appalled that I can't domkill these minor nations... maybe if everyone else piles on we can squeeze them out.

Anyway, now that Agartha's gone, I'll try to keep the pace up. Although it is a bit intimidating. Gotta pace myself through these monster turns :)

Yeah, these have been very slow turns. I admit I'm partially to blame -- since people have been attacking me, I keep getting discouraged. Especially since that dominion ticker hasn't gone far recently :(

But I'm sticking with it and killing where I can!

Wow 1 yr! Not quite what I expected when I signed up but its been fun.

I got in to the bad habit of waiting for the 12 hr warning before submitting.. not very reliable. I can do better than that.

Well, this strategy is simply not working. My plan was to hole up in my castles while my dominion did the work... but even with 200+ juggernauts my dominion is barely budging now that you guys are building temples and preaching and stuff. Hrrrmmmph.

Meanwhile you're popping my provinces left and right.

Alas, I don't have a plan B. I don't have the gold or cash to mount a counteroffensive at this point... guess I'll just sit and wait for the inevitable. But at least I'll keep the boys bottled up where they're safe and can do the most damage for the longest time :)

I think you lost too many hitpoints overall so the army fled. Hydras have a seperate shape for each head lost so they only show as having a few hps each... not sure.

OK, things are getting crazy, I'm not sure I can continue this. I don't want to go AI because he'll just have my juggernauts storm out and get killed, which would be silly.

Is there any point in offering my ridiculous position to another player? Or should I just submit empty turns so this game moves along?

But I have no idea who is going to win the Pangaea / Jotenheim smashfest. They both seem more interested in popping my castles than attacking each other at the moment.

hmm, I found a working mapfile that worked ok with last turn. But then dom3 crashed when I tried to load the latest turn ^^. I think it is indeed time to concede.

I wasn't sure how to use all my SCs effectively vs the sleep-vine spam. Did I just need vine shields or something? Seemed they were very vulnerable to being overwhelmed or killed by spells/ranged lightning before they did much damage. I guess it would be hard for either of us to make much progress with the vampire spam. Death mages and items strong enough to use death mastery were very scarce.

I think you just need to patch dominions to 3.28.

As for vampires I recommend staff of storms. When it comes to sleepy vines I have no idea.

Sleepy vines make nice pincushions, and you have moose riders... admittedly that's an expensive solution.

You had lots of Skratti last time I looked. Why not try Cleansing Water (Evoc 4)?

ah, patching worked, thx.

hmm, don't think i tried cleansing water, no. When I tried it on demons it was rubbish.. perhaps they had too much protection. Its just the shere amount of chaff coming at me. Best solution was death mastery as that turned all the chaff on each other leaving me free to mop up, perhaps it wasn't such a desperate situation. Still, I'm happy to call the game finished and congratulate Ossa!
