Im eager to try it, but it seems to be bugged- game crashes when I try to recruit troops- I get a message saying that it can't open the "homonculus ancient" .tga file. As far as I can tell, that file didn't make it into the download.

From what little I saw, though, nice sprites! But I think darkpower 5-7 is way too strong for recruitable troops.
