Question when you are offering on the trade list for tech.

When you click on a item once and ask for it are you asking for the next level up of that tech.

So if you ask twice will you be asking for the next two levels

And if you are giving once is that the next level for the tradee. Or just the first level ???

And if you click on the item 10 times will that mean your offering the first 10 levels or the next 10 levels of the tech....?

Imagine the offer to be exactly like a fleet of ships to be deconstructed & analysed.
Each Click adds a civilian chip carrying an example component to be analysed.

So, it is always the next tech, not the first.
