Hard to believe that it has nearly been 15 years since I ordered the game and started playing the full version. I can still remember the days, yes days, I spent clicking one more turn; turn after turn.

I don't play it any more but I still do hold SE IV dear to my heart.

I miss the days of endless discussion we had here over the first five years of the game. It really was a sad day back in 06 when I began to lose touch with this site and its members.

But life is change and we move on. However, I was pleased to learn that Shrapnel was still around and publishing games. In fact Bob Saunders's Approaching Infinity game is being published by Shrapnel and I am happy to say that I was a kick starter backer of the project thanks to David G.

For me, I play only a couple of games regularly these days, Minecraft - http://dynmap.minetrek.net/ where I help build massively large star ship builds on a 1:1 scale with complete interiors and details.

I also play some STO as it has great visual art and stunning visuals.

Hope all of you, those whom I have known and played with over the years are all still around, doing well, and still playing PC games.

God Bless and happy 15 years!

Hi Atro. Have you tried out the Minecraft-like game where you build spaceships out of block and then can fly and fight with them?

Maybe once every couple of years, I reload SE4, with the TDM-Modpack, and play a game. Its always fun, in small bursts. Sometimes the AI wins, sometimes I beat the AI, but its getting there that's fun.

Alas, I don't play SE5, I lost the password, and I just don't care enough. Someday, maybe someday, I'll buy another copy. I was trying out the Balance Mod, and I did like it.

Anyway, its always nice to hear from the old timers, and reminisce.

After all these years, I still play SE4. It takes only a few turns and then I'm hopelessly immersed in the game.

Just brushing off the dust, having a look around, and finding Artaud with a feather duster. A three-year hiatus even on this thread. Pretty quiet here too.

I've gotten SEV, on STEAM. Boy, remember when I was one of the people who was against SEV on STEAM? What a lifesaver STEAM turned out to be, when I lost my CD access code,

SEV runs fine on my Surface. And the Balance mod really brings the game together. I play a little bit at a time, but in the end, real life wins out, and I have to stop.

I wonder...Is there a chance an SE6 will be made?
