what are the ranking levels like how manyPosts to get to a certain place?

AFAICT, the levels run something like this:
1-50 PFC
51-100 Corporal
101-175 Sergeant
176-250 2nd Lt
251-350 1st Lt
351-450 Captain
451-575 Major
576-700 Lt Col
701-850 Colonel
851+ General.

But as long as you are talking about rankings, don't associate rankings with anything other than hot air, so to speak. While this board AFAIKT has not had much of a "noise" issue, many Boards that do ranking tend to have problems with many people posting things just to increase their rank. So you tend to get lots of things like "yeah,” “Cool,” “OK,” and a plethora of one-liners. Many Boards have removed the ranking to reduce this issue.

fair comment emperors child - I have reached the lofty heights of 1st lefftenant mainly by posting on the G&G thread which after all, is primarily hot air - only about 50 of my Posts have been actually on technical/strategy related topics.
Wise words about the happenings on the other forums
