Map Generator Quick Question

Will the Map Generator automatically reset back to its default terrain types after playing a battle? It seems like it would have to, otherwise battle location default settings would get corrupted after a few uses.

Are you asking if the map generator will use the default location during a generated campaign even if you’ve edited the last battle to use a different location? Then yes, the location will revert to the original default location for the two nations, unless you specifically picked a different type as your default location during campaign set up. For example if you had a generated campaign and a desert type location was your default location but for battle #2 you wanted a plains type location so you used the map editor to make it plains it will default back to desert for battle #3 and every battle after that.

Actually, I was thinking about using it to play random battles, not generated campaigns. But now I remember there's a button you can click, that remembers the settings you inputted for specified opponents. By not clicking the button, I would think the Map Generator resets to its default settings.
