Component Modding Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK,

I have created 2 new engine types. I have entered them into the tech area so they can be researched. I have also added them in the component.txt file. In addition, i have added a pic.bmp for the picture I wanted for each engine to the components directory in the pictures folder.

Now, here is my problem. When I am able to actually make the item, and you go into ship creation, the name and description of the item will show up in the items to pick from, but the picture wont. How come?

There also has to be an entry in the corresponding slot in the Components.bmp file. This (smaller) picture is used for ship component lists, etc.; the larger one is used for component descriptions. Try right-clicking on the component in your ship design; the component description, with the large ###.bmp you added, should come up.

You have to add the minis as well.
Components.bmp contains all the minis, in order, starting at #001.
