Quick question for y'all:

If a ship is cloaked against EM Active/Passive, Gravitic and Temporal (everything but Psychic) up to a level 4 scan, can a level 2 Psychic scanner see it?

Yes, if it has nothing to cloak against Psychic scans.

In fact, if the psychic cloak is not mentioned at all in the abilities list, anything that provides vision can detect it via the Psychic hole!

Uhh, wouldn't that make the cloaking ability on stealth armor useless? It only provides EM Active cloaking IIRC.

Clarification: When the ability is placed directly into the vehicle hull size.

In Gold Stealth Armor provides both active and passive EM cloaking level 2.

Ok, thought I understiid, but now I'm confused again. So, would a Psychic Scanner automatically beat stealth armor? Regardless of the levels - so if stealth armor was modded to cloak EM Active/Passive up to 4, would a level 2 Psychic Scan just cut right through it? I imagine the answer would also apply to Temporal and Gravitic as well.

As far as I can tell, it should, since the stealth armor has -zero- resistance to temporal, gravitic, psychic scans.

But I am sure one of the experts will confirm this (or my ignorance http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif ).

[I have been thinking about modding the stealth armor as well, since it really isn't very cloak effective. But then again, this isn't really its main purpose anyhow.]
