Ok [deep breath whilst mentally preparing for a barrage of scorn and snide remarks]

I have downloaded the Federation, Klingon, Romulan and Cardassian shipsets from the excellent new age shipyards - everytime I play the Klingon vs Federation, I get an error message at the end of the turn that seems to say something like "error as colony cannot be remoived from system" or something like that - what is the problem and how do I fix it?

Question 2 - despite coaching from Mac5732, I cannot work out how to load the mods from the SEIVG disc. I have followed every thread on this but they all assume a basic knowledge of computers.

Can someone please tell me how to do this in easy steps on the assumption that all I can do with a computer is turn it on

Puke:
First, you have to set a way point somewhere. Then, in the construction window, there is a buttoned labeled "Set Move To" on the right-hand menu. Click it, and you can set the way point there.

The hotkeys are alt-< number > to set a waypoint, and ctrl-< number > to move a ship there, or crtl-W to choose from a list of all the ones you've set.

You can set, delete, and rename them in (F11) Empire Status/Waypoints, which also will show a list of all ships en route to a waypoint, and all shipyards set to move to it.

annoying thing to watch out for when setting waypionts: the computer automatically selects the 1st waypoint (#1) when you go to the waypoint screen instead of the first unused one so when you just go there and click set waypoint you may mess that up, happened to me, maybe im just stoooopid http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
