Hi Guys, not quite a newbie, been playing a while now, but one thing is frustrating me. I have researched the components for building a Ringworld, but no ship sizes i have are big enough to accomodate the components even though i've researched them all. Is there something i'm missing here ?

Thats easy to explain Jernau, thats because u need to build the components onto space stations which are big enough to hold the components http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon6.gif
so u use ships that have construction yards on them to build the space stations over whatever star u want to build the ringworld/sphereworld over then once u have enough components to build it u create the new world using the steller manip menu
Hope this helps

Howdy,
You have to stick the components on base designs.
You use ships with space yards to build the required number of bases around a star.
Takes about 6 months (real time)
Damn...missed.
