Hey SEIV4 fans, I got a Q for you.

We are 3 friends who would like to play Online via TCP/IP (No not PBE, PBW).

Has anyone ever got this to work?

We tried over the intenet, and could connect to a host, but then the game failed.

We also tried to VPN (Virtual Private Network) together:
It resultet in that the 1 of the VPN Users could make a game that the VPN server could join (and they could play). If there where 2 VPN players the orders file would not be sendt to the server.

Does anyone actually got the game working over the internet?

One thing that will prevent it from working is if one of you have a firewall set up. If so, configure it to open ports 6716 and 6720. The UDP Messages are send on Port 6716 and the file streams are sent on Port 6720. That's one possible problem you could be having.
