Star Trek has an Anthology of collected stories written by fans. My poll is simple, would you buy a fanfic collection or even a book series of SE4 stories?? MM/Shrapnel could make some money and 'free advertisement' off this IMO.

Ouch http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif , alot of people voting no. There is some really good fan-fiction out there (and yes there is some 'crap' too, but it's all relative to the reader). Go read Dogscoff's CueCappa detective, better than some 'professional' sci-fi I have read lately. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif Heck, I'd buy an ongoing of just that! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Deathstalker... thanks=-) If I ever get it on paper, can I use your quote on the cover?

http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif no prob Dogscoff. I am being quite honest here, I really do like it. Kinda remainds me of a Michael Connelly/Simon R. Green mix. (Connelly wrote the Harry Bosch detective novels, and Green of course wrote the Deathstalker series.)
You have a good grasp on characterization, without being too 'wordy' as my English proff use to say. I've written some stuff in the past but it is mainly Fantasy, don't have the 'science' for sci-fi to come across as believeable. (that and my grammar and spelling usually sucks http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif )

The thing would be great. I always more than liked all the fan fictions out there, almost each one of them. I surely would buy a collection of such stories.
Deathstalker & Dogscoff: what are you talking about? someone link me please?
