Hi guys!

I finally finished my 1st game of Se-IV.
It's indeed a great experience to me.
However, I am puzzled of AI's weapons with 'H'
or 'M' mark.
For example, one AI palyer has Wave Motion III
gun with 'H' mark, its attack power is 450 !
And my Wave Motion III gun has only 150 !?

I tried to capture one of their ships, and scrap/analyze, I gained nothing new.

Why? I used only standard AI setting.
Is it a hidden advantage of AI players?
Is it possible for human player to have such
powerful weapons?

thanks for your reading.

H is for Heavy Mount.
M is for Massive Mount.

Larger ships can have larger weapon mounts for direct fire weapons.

Push the mount button in the design menu and choose the mount you want to design with. Then all of the weapons it applies to will have the letter H, M, or whatever added to its picture.

Great thanks! i've got it.

i think it's an incentive to research larger
ship hulls. now i am gonna play Organic
race this time ^^

Yeah, they got me like that too. It took a little while but I figured it out.

Took me a little while to figure that out too when I first got the game a long time ago. That button isn't really attractive to the eyes. And the "M" letter is somewhat misleading to new players, usually "medium" is the first word that comes to mind instead of "massive".
