I heard that Janeway's going to guest star in this one...

Doesn't matter what that big bad Reman ship does: Voyager with it's transphasic torpedoes and ablative armor will come to save the day!

Gentlemen,

I too am VERY interested in this movie. It appears to be very "Dark" no pun intended, and did it say that this was a "Final Journey?"

Cheers!

Yes is did.

"A Generation's Final Journey" is the tag line it seems.

Paramount has decided that this film will most likely have a follow up or Trek will start making films not related to the TV series, but it wn't be the Last film.

But that might change with The Two Towers coming out 5 days after it and many other major films in the same time frame......

Picard, Riker, Data, LaForge, Crusher, Worf, and Diana. This is going to be their Last movie. So, no more of them in movies. So there will be more movies, just unfortunatly without that cast. Which stinks as it was my all time favorite cast of Star Trek. But I think this will be the best movie that this cast will play. I agree, it does look very dark. Which I [i]love[/] dark movies. But I can't wait!!

I'm really looking forward to the movie. It looks like it will be one of the best trek films for sure.

And Voyager isn't going to save the day, that's for sure.

I also have to add that, as a die hard TOS fan, I boycotted this series for the first 2 years because there was a Klingon on the bridge!!! I think I've caught all the early episodes in reruns though and definitely regret that decision!

Paramount has declared no DS9 movie. They have also refused to cosider Voyager for anything.

Also, Patrick Stewart, and most of the TNG crew has said they would like to do more films. Only Brent Spiner has said the role has grown old for him.

Enterprise & the Temporal Cold war is most likely to continue the movies. Also, John Logan has been invited to do additional romulan episodes for Enterprise....

Personally, I support he idea of breaking the TNG crew up. Mainly because they've all been on the Enterprise for what, 13-15 years. Man, they're careers are going no where. Then you got TOS that did thier stint for what, 40 years on two enterprises?

I can think of a lot of reasons for several Voyager movies. I probably talk about it tooooo much, but those two "Year Of Hell" episodes were some of the best TV/Film drama I've seen yet!

I'd really like to see more action (ie..war) oriented ST movies. Wars are always mentioned as "past" or "over there" things. The Dominion war episodes were ok...just too many episodes with too much "Shapeshifter" dialogue.

The Two Towers? Think I'd rather see "Skin The Taliban" or, "Al Quaeda Drawn and Quartered- The Inside Story"!

P.S. Gandalph- I did the same thing! Still get a nice surprise, once ever so often, of catching one I haven't seen. It's amazing how the set lighting changed for the later ones. Maybe its just the way the later episodes were saved...
