PBW Queries

I have SEIVG (v1.67), a friend has SEIV (latest revision, 1.49?)

We want to play a PBW game just between the 2 of us. I have the following Queries:

1 I assume we both have to use 1.49
2 can just the 2 of us play, does one of us have to be the host?

1 Yes, you must use the same Versions
2 One of you will have to be the host
3 Traditionally, "thanks" is spelt t-h-a-n-k-s, but in some cultures "Thansk" is just fine.
