Look pretty good models to me. Not a Trekkie, so couldn't comment on that but the models look good.

I like them. You've kept to the simple cubes & spheres for the main ships, while still managing to make each one unique and identifiable.
I have two suggestions for you:
1) The light cruiser seems to have its texture tiled 2&1/2 times, and it looks odd. Considering the scale on your cruiser, compressing the texture to get three tilings would be good.
2) There is a lot of glare coming off of the one upper face of all of your bases. Can you shift the light source or the camera to reduce that a bit?

Way cool, beautiful, um, additonal superlatives.
Can't wait to use them.

Oh my god... Those ships are awesome. By far the best Borg shipset I've seen. Can't wait for you to release them.

The frigate breaks the theme of the main 'warship' line by being a sphere. The others are quite nice, and the idea of splitting larger ships into many 'sub-cubes' is quite clever. The transports are extremely cool looking but I suggest using more spheres for larger transports instead of making the same spheres bigger & bigger. This might actually give the reverse of the impression that you want (i.e. the 'large' transport may look like it's smaller than the 'small' because you naturally assume that the same spheres are involved in each). The space stations look like good WPs to me.

Thank you guys for your suggestions. I have tried to use them all. Here is one result. I think it looks ok, but I would appreciate some comments.

I could not do anything about the reflective light. I did change the color of the light to a grayer scale. If you visit the link *HERE* (http://www.angelfire.com/tv2/NewAgeShipyards/Borg/Borg/home.html) and look at the base imgages, you'll see the differance. I will more than likely go even darker on the light sources color, and apply it to all finished ships.

Uhm, with that LC, you've gone from 2&1/2 tiles across to 1&1/2 tiles across.
It still has the exact same problem, with the dark, open bit on the texture being cut off by the edge of the cube.
For example:
http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/newuploads/1027952365.BMP
On the bottom right, that metal bit with the 45-degree angle is not connected to the rest of the ship.
IMO, three repetitions of the dark area along each edge (9 per face) would be best, in order to make the ship appear slightly smaller than the Cruiser (16 per face)
PS: Those bases are much easier on the eyes without so much glare http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Well, but after resizing mini. image to 36X36, nobody will ever notice this. Don't worry about such details for mini. pictures.

No, I like older picture better. Resize them to
128X128 and most small details will fade away.
Besides, it is too dark for me.

Atrocities ,
The Baron's comment about the sphere breaking the theme generated an idea in my mind;
A ship set almost parallel to this Borg set but based on spheres. I realize it is easy for me to suggest. I have no idea how hare it would be to accomplish.
As for the breaking of the theme, perhaps you could proffer an alternative frigate that might be a pare of escorts connected or something to that extent.
None the less, I'll take them as is.
Thanks again.

Thank guys.
I am going to ditch the sphere for this set as a main vessel. I think I will make them all fighters with varations on them.
Which of the two do you like the most?

I'd recommend the sphere for Borg space stations, myself. Especially a 'flattened' or ellipsoid sphere. It's a natural shape for very large structures in space. Look at the examples in nature! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
BTW, all of the images look a bit too dark. We have to be able to see these in the system window, remember...
