So how dumb is the AI? Well no doubt everyone has had this happen. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon8.gif I'm playing a PBW game since I think November and am in contention fro 1st place. I miss the first turn ever and the AI cancels all my treaties resulting in combats with my former allies that knock out a few huge planets, puts attacking fleets in postions that will likely result in their death, and will likely have ships falling apart soon due to lack of resources! ARRRRGGG! And yea I know there is a No AI mod I just wish it could be a standard.

Under Empire Options/Ministers there is also a box for "AI should not make changes to empire during simultaneous games". If this is checked, the AI might move some ships or rearrange queues, IIRC, but it will not change treaties or do other drastic measures to screw up your Empire.

Actually the whole reason for coming up with the "No AI Mod" was because the "AI should not make changes to empire during simultaneous games" option doesn't really do much. I have had AI screw up treaties and whatnot with that option selected.

It wasn't working in the past but it was fixed somehwere in the 1.40s. It works just great now, as I already found out a couple of times. It will never cancel any treaties now but it will alter your empty build queues and ships order.
