Yet another feature poll from me! The idea, if you haven't figured it out already, is maybe if enough people vote yes then Malfador will take note and include one of these features in the next patch...

Anyway, would you find a Communications Log feature useful? What I mean by that is, a log of all Messages that your empire has sent and received. This could be used in multiplayer games for keeping track of Messages from allies such as "the Amonkrie have lots of ships in the Wertuy system" - currently there's no way of retrieving old Messages so if your ally tells you something important you have to copy it to a text file.

Maybe SEIV has this but I missed it. Isn't there a history log? That is a log of all the progress msgs you get as you blunder your way through history?

Isn't there a history log? That is a log of all the progress msgs you get as you blunder your way through history? <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">There's a &lt;gamename_player&gt;_log.txt file, but that gets overwritten every turn.

In theory, you could &lt;alt&gt;-tab out of the game every turn, open that file, and paste the contents into a cumulative log.

I personally don't understand why anyone would want to save all that, or why so many people seem to have an aVersion to writing notes on paper (which is how I track what I need of this kind of stuff).
