Robotech/Macross Mod

Seeing that all of my other favorite Sci-Fi mods are already heavily modded (Star Trek, Star Wars, B5, in no particular order), I decided to start on a mod from another one of my favorite sci-fi worlds, that being Robotech/Macross. I know that they are two losely connected universes, but since neither on its own has sufficient 'stuff' to make an independent mod I decided to combine the two (so please don't nail me for messing up canon stuff! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif ).

I read, a while back on the board, that others had started and a Macross mod, but could not find any reference to released files. I have completed around 50% of the 4 main Empire's graphic mods and would like to see where anyone else had gone with the graphics. My Space Empires IV Gold is en-route, so I have not yet seen the 200MB of files included, but I have also not found any Robotech/Macross mod on any website or through any search on this board.

I'd like to see this mod too, even though I still haven't seen the whole series (I lived in an area where they didn't get that station on my cable package). I grew up watching the 2 Starblazers series. I'd love to see a mod based on that.

The main problem about this topic is that there is a lot of unknown information, so a vast amount is non-canon. However, if it looks and feels alright, I am all for it!

Thanks for the website, I have also found the old technical files site, along with many other graphics and info sites (I have around 70-80 MB of raw graphics downloaded for modification and reference!).

You could just turn it into a general anime mod and incorporate stuff from different series and movies and stuff.

Another idea for similar content, probably no help, is similar stuff included in the BattleTech games/universe... if I recall they had a ship combat system called... AeroTech???

I don't see why other mech-based universes couldn't be incorporated into this mod.

It would give plenty more stuff to add in the way of techs.
