Why in blue blazes does SEIV insist upon showing pictures of ship sizes you haven't researched yet when you start a new game with the same empire?

It knows enough not to show those in the Vehicle Size list but it's not smart enough to not show designed sizes not yet legal. At least it grays them out in the build queue for which I'm grateful. But we all design a gazillion ships and we all play more than one game.
