View Full Version : A new, undocumented feature!

I suggested this to MM recently along with a bunch of other ideas and it seems they put it in 1.78 without documenting it in history.txt - Try right-clicking on a mount on the select mounts window (shouldn't they be called Comp Mounts not Weap Mounts now BTW?)... Cool, huh? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Since I've only got 1.49, how about mention what it does?

NO! Don't tell him. Make him buy Gold to find out. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Actually it is documented in "history.txt" under Version 1.76

Now with the Tournie starting, I may have too.
Assuming I con my wife into parting with extra money that should be going into our new house.
Is the rebate offer still available and does Shrapnel still have Gold back in stock yet?

Better than a check, is get a money order using cash to pay for it and send that. That way she won't see the cashed check (if she gets to the mail first).
Go one step further and pay extra for Fed X delivery and pick it up at their station yourself.

Just to let you know, I did not buy SEIV Gold this way. I ordered through a friend as a group order(paid him cash).

May have talked her around, but I shouldn't have let her read this post...

I told my wife about this post. I made it a joke, saying "Aren't you glad I don't listen to THEM!" Her reply was, "None of them must be married to someone like me."

Speaking as a 65 year old married more than 30 years: The word 'marriage' begins with the letter "C".
'C' for compromise, consideration, etc.
45$ won't make a dent in saving for a house. But sending the check without telling her will make a big dent in your relationship.

Elowan, Well said!
Folks:
I realize most of the ideas were meant in jest;
In many a thread I have mentioned the "5th X" in SE. eX wife. While playing SE far too much was a symptom not a cause....

It's going to start in a couple days and you won't get it by then.
But there are always games starting on PBW, and there's always Survivor 3. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

In my first case, the X did not want to learn.
My sweetheart now plays about 10 turns a week with me. (and I *blech* watch romantic movies).

I noticed I was going to be to late for the tournie, maybe next time. Unless someone needs a replacement in a week or two?
As for teaching her to play, she does. We are in 2 'Last alliance standing' PBW games together.
I'm not mentioning the games because I know some of the people are listening. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
