Here in Manhattan, in the West Village, people are standing outside the windows of my office looking southward...in silent vigil, I suppose.

Kinda erie, 'cause that is exactly the same scene from a year ago. I am sure some have sought out the exact spot where they saw it happen.

We held a 2 minute silence at 13.46 our time.

I am pleased to say the city pretty much shut down.
