In a recent high technology game i was using a crystalline/temporal race. I had 4 Time Distortion Bursts on Large Mounts. For some reason, early in the game. The eneies light cruisers that had 1 Wave Motion Gun on large mount. Everytime my crusiers destroyed every component but then the wave motion guns wouldn't be destroyed!
I was Using SEIV 0.51 Demo so that might explain it, it seems temporal weapons are really causing bugs

Trust me.. STop wasting your time and buy SEIV Gold... It's well worth it.

0.51 demo? Boy that is ancient! I'd forgotten there was a demo Version before 0.99! Tell ya what, if you buy the game you'll be pleasantly surprised by all the new features added by the patches... well, except for the 4X to shields bug... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

that's always a fun one, especially on fighters, then you have htese fighters doing 45 x # of comps per turn and they are like 110%-90% to miss and 80-100% to hit.
Also, you should get regular SE4 incase you wish to play the old Version/old scenarios (because the one im working on as a test will only be for that, the super good scenario im doing will be for gold obviously). Gold is better, old se4 is cool though
