Very basic questions about repair bay

Hi hi again.

Repair bays are used to repair ship, OK.

- Does one have to select the ship to be repaired or is it fully automatic ? (so a useless ship can be repaired first)

- If I a have a fleet, and a single ship with space bay in the same location, will it be able to proceed to reparations without being inserted in the fleet ?

(so a useless ship can be repaired first) <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Automatic, but you can use (F11 hotkey or Crown icon) Empire Status/Repair Priorities to somewhat control which ship is repaired first.

Repairs are sector-wide.
A single ship can repair any number of other ships simultaneously, and multiple repair ships can repair a single ship.
They need only be in the same sector, not fleeted.

Repair rules can be set in the empire options window (under the repair priorities button). This lets you decide which components are most important to repair.
If there are no specified rules that decide between two damaged ships, it goes by the order in which the ships were built.
