Hi everyone! Long time no see!
Yes, im finaly back Online.
And i've got some big news (well, its big for me) - i've moved! yes, i've moved from Israel to... guess? Canada!

OK, so now im in Calgary, Canada. Got my internet setup nicely (finaly fast internet! after years of torment with Israel slow DialUp) and looking forward to resuming all the things i had unfinished. Thats a lot, but i wasnt doing them because of the moving thing.

Anything important or just interesting happened in my absence (since the beginning of August)? Yes i know, DO is out. I've got the demo, will play it tomorrow. Anything interesting i've missed?

And, out of curiousity, anyone else being at Calgary from the people here?

OK, so its late already. I'll checkup tomorrow to see whats up overall.

p.s one Last thing - i've got my e-mail changed, now its trouble11@graffiti.net . So, if you realy need to reach me try this one, i usualy always do check my mail.

Glad to hear your back. Stop by the cantina and I'll give you your first drink on the house.

What's been happening? A few interesting developments...

Atrocities crossed swords with some rabid fans of Star Trek and had his site shutdown. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon8.gif Not to worry though - he's back Online at a different location now. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Hadrian has reportedly finished the Ultimate Mod 2, but at 130MB (50MB for the 'Lite' Version) he is having problems with distrubution. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

Ruatha has accidently started THE THREAD THAT NEVER DIES. Check it out, it is now at 350+ Posts and 24 pages long. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

As for the rest the usual: Mayhem and Crazyness at the Cantina; Newby questions answered; occasional philosophical discussions http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Oy Taz, stop offering all and sundry free drinks at mine and Gryphin's Cantina. That is my cashflow you are talking about there.

Put it on Mac's tab instead

Grandpa Kim is from Calgary.
I lived in Calgary for a long time, but now I live in Montreal, Canada, Across the country.

Advice:

The Trails in Calgary are not trails.

It is ill-advised to live in calgary without some kind of lotion on hand.

When I left for montreal, there was an Ant infestation across the city; it could flare up again so get some ant killers.

Get used to the Quadrant system http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Go to C.O.P. (Calgary Olympic Park) in winter to ski or snowboard *one of the best points of the city*

I probably missed some points, but I think I covered the main discretions.

Welcome to Canada.

Hi Taera

Welcome to Canada.

I am your neighbour, 300 Kilometers to the north of you. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Yes, you will "really" need to know the quadrant system if you want to navigate the city. Otherwise you will find yourself in the opposite part of the city.

Close by is Drumheller which advertises itself as "The Dinosaur Capital of the World" I've taken many visitors there and they all have been impressed by it.

Also a hop, skip and jump from you is Banff National Park. Lots of skiing, hot springs, wild life.

Hope you will like Canada. Takes a while to get used to all the open spaces.
