Actually, he withdrew due to computer crash problems. (As a matter of fact, if I'm not mistaken he ended up just chuckin' the derelect rig into a dumpster!). But that leaves an empty slot for one lucky sole to take over.

The Y'dath are in an excellent position, probably in the top 5 empires. They are very closely allied with an equally strong empire, and that alliance stands in a position to dominate the game. This game currently needs 2 replacement players.
This game uses SE4v1.49 + Pirates and Nomads 2.5PBW + No AI Mod.

Both of the empires are feasible (although one moreso than the other), and both are strongly allied with the argueably #1 empire in the quadrant.

Come help me keep my baby afloat.

Which Version is 1.49? Is that pre or post gold?

I'd join, but I don't really feel like installing a whole new directory tree for one game. Even with a good empire, P&N and No AI... I think this is your largest hurdle. BTW, I have the latest patch on...

Yes, it is the shield to the right of the name. I just tested it out (by withdrawing, and then replaceing myself http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif ), and it worked fine. I don't know why it won't let you do it...

everytime he tries to join as a replacement player, PBW spits out a 500 error message at him. He posted in the PBW bugs forum, but I don't know if he ever got a reply...
