Oh, and Geo, did you ever find a replacement for the Heru? If not, I am feeling kinda ****ty that I abandonded the game in a moment of weakness and am more than happy to rejoin the game (with the explicit promise not to leave it again) if for nothing more than to keep if from dying.

Just now coming out of a major writer/player/poster/gamer funk. Not sure I have the addiction back, but you never know.

If someone has taken it over, nevermind...I just haven't checked in a week or two and can't check it now obviously.

Hmm. I was thinking.
Take NGC2 Story for example .. ( a coincidance that I chose that story, I assure you!)

THere are three different stories.
CaptRR's first installment in the series was posted retrospective.
i e it should be place before some of the stories that was before it.
I don't know if it makes any real difference but just wanted to point it out.

I've gone back and dated most of my story episodes (Those that I've posted). So if you haven't lifted it from this site yet, that's good.

Yeah, the layouts almost done, i've been very busy with schoolwork so it took longer than expected, i'll post when it's done and maybe give a preview to see if people like it, then start upon making the story pages!

Yes. Sometimes I find that dating bit somewaht restricting. Still it helps me to keep track of events as they happen in the game.
That you don't date will make it easy for me to fit it in appropriate places (as I think appropriate...)

I've read all of "Once upon a stars", great story.
Most of "Hevordah imperum "and "Rise of the Remorzah".
I've been saving Othaglot as I'm not a great fan of detective stories but I'll read that when I find time anyway. It's se4 and it's Sci-Fi!

I've read "History of the Galaxy II2" but it's progressing very slowly, altough many perspectives there hasn't been much happening lately. Have the game paused?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Just lately Othaglot & Cane seems to be drifting somewhat. I'm not sure you could call it a detective story any more- it's now just a good old tale of interstellar murder, betrayal, espionage, conspiracy, more betrayal and politics. Did I miss anything? Oh yeah, big unexpected explosions, reckless drinking and (in the best Enterprise tradition) a gratuitous alien shower scene. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

You're probably wise to wait on it though- I might well be switching a few chapters around in the near future.

Just a word of warning. Also, Yaoi, Yuri, Hentai, Ecchi, H, Lemon, and Lime are things to look out for as having various types of sexual content.

I don't think if you hosted the stories on your site that it would make the threads here on the forums obsolete. I think most of the story writters here would post their story to their thread and then either you will see another chapter to add or they will inform you that there is another portion of the story to add to your site. I'd preferr that you host them seperatly with link to the forum at the end.
That way they will be preserved if the forum get's erased. And also it's possible to colour code it.

Once your site is up I am sure most of us will send you our story installments rather than post them here. That way you can update the stories first and have the draw to the site. New story additions are posted to your site first.

After a week or so we can update out threads here. But since most people won't want to dig through the forum to find the beginning of our stories, your site should be the logical choice for those who want to read our dribble from the beginning.

Some place around here I have my first story, New Age the Cleansing. I will have to look for it. It was a semi ok story line about the end of the Star Trek universe as we knew it. I should dust it off, update it, and add a few installments to it as well.

The Layouts complete and i'm just tweaking bits of it and finishing off a couple of the stories. I'm free for the next week and a half so perhaps i'll get most the stories typed up, i'm currently waiting for my host to make the sub domain for the site but he isn't replying to e-mails or on MSN.

Sorry for the lack of updates, unfortuantly i havn't had much time to redo much of the site, there was a fatal html error that made it screw up in 1024X768 and above. I'll start work soon as i have officially left secondary education and have 1 exam left to go. You know one of the good things about having a site dedicated to fan fiction is that you can have other things as well.

Profiles on the authors
Original works
Support imformation
Discussions
Tutorials and other matierals to help people out
Resouce guides (Both for SEIV and individual stories)
Story related items like images and art work
Bash the author and MVP type of awards.

I will be honest with you, Fan Fiction DOES sell people on this game. Especially when they read stories by sachmo's, RD's, Ruatha's, Erax's, and so many many more.
