So after sitting here almost 5 MINUTES after e-mail in my PBW turn and being the Last person to send in the turn (in a 2 person KOTH game) I'm left wondering if it would be faster if I uploaded it on the PBW page?

It is generally faster to upload it using the web interface.

I would use RTC, except for... hmm... I'm sure there was a reason I didn't want to...

I think it had to do with mods. Do you have to have a Version of RTC running for each mod?

Is there any way to keep the RTC from crashing your game if the connection drops?

No I only have one Version of RTC running. But usually what I do when I use it for mod games is open the mod picker and select which mod is used for the game and keep it open. I open SEIV with that to change the path.txt file to that mod then I close the game then download the turn with RTC. It then opens the turn and I play, I end the turn and it uploads. It may seem like a waste opening SEIV and then closing it but in the end it saves time due to me not having to go to the PBW site and upload the turn myself.
It works for me so I use RTC all the time. Personal preferance I guess. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
