Play by web down often?

Is the play by web site down often? I have seen it go down three times in the past 10 days or so, and am wondering if this is typical. I don't mean to sound like this is a complaint -- I'm just beginning as a host, and want to know what to tell my players.

No, it happens not often. Just now pbw admins are doing some maintenance (probably http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/confused.gif ) after the Last brakedown. It should (hopefully) come up soon http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

No, after playing PBW games for a year or so, this was the worst episode. PBW has been very reliable; I experienced great results.

...And the PBW team hauls *** to get it back on-line whenever there is an issue.

But no, before this Last couple weeks where it has been down alot it had gone a few months without going down. Rather good I'd say.

Umm... there was a period of like 2-3 months in early 2002 when PBW was completely down. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif (I think that was how long it was, maybe 1.5 months http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif )

But at that time I was playing PBW so it didn't matter to me.
