A purple thing! A shuttle, perhaps!

It kind of reminds me of the defiant from DS9!
Cheers!

Like a cattameran or a legless beatle.
I like it. An impending ship set?

You guys apparently don't use Atrocities Star Trek races.
He is obviously trying to remake the Dominion shipset and this is a new ship for that.

couslee: That will be S_J's play by committee game. Not a mod as such, but you can join in and get your own unit avatarr.
Oleg: No wonder I didn't recognise it- I don't really follow Trek closely enough.

A pager. j/k http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif
A frigate at largest would be my vote.

i looks like one of the ships from the dominion but the color and basic style also remind me of one of the ships from moo2

I am sure I will explore all the mods, and available games after some time. i still have yet to get through my first game. Which is apparent by some of the questions you see me ask (what field is that in?). I think my next game I am going to select the setting "player can see entire tech tree" Finding out my weapon of choice stops at level 5, and the one I ignored goes much higher is a bit on the "well crap!" side of the game. lol
BUT I WANT level 9 DUCs! waaaaaaa
and no, I don't use star trek races. I enjoy the show, but I don't let it overflow into other areas of enjoyment.

I like the catamaran shape and the clean lines. I like ships with clean lines. Definitely looks like an escort, but I could see a large transport ship done in this style

An escort, probably, or maybe a frigate. The colours make me think "Cue Cappa" (although they're not actually that close to Cua Cappa colours), but shape-wise it doesn't ring any bells.
Assuming it's not supposed to be imitating some sci-fi show that I haven't seen, it could be the bginnings of a good original shipset.

I like how it looks. perhaps..... a leader's personal ship.
I read somewhere there is a mod available, or being worked on, not sure which, that there is an actual "you" unit in the game. if "you" get killed, your out of the game.
if I guessed right, does it have a 50% weight has to be armor? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

I think i'll go with a trimaran flipped over and split down the middle by a cargo container that's now wedged forward amidships.

Nice Atrocities. Oleg is right, it is a Jem'Hadar Attack ship.

Yup. Or at least it looks kinda like one. The problem is getting the other ships too look like Dominion ships. That is the hard part. I have all the classes basically designed, but they just don't look a 100% like dominion ships. More like about 60%.
Well, 8472 doesn't resemble the Voyager 8472 ships that much. Although I did get one ship really close. The rest I took creative license with.
With the Dominion, it will be differant. I doubt I will ever release the set as a Dominion set. I may release it as an original race.

These ships looks like high-speed attack craft... good for quick, surprise attacks on unsuspecting enemies!
The very first picture looks like the ship can fold up by retracting the sides in, so that it takes up less room in storage. Good design for fighters stored in a carrier.

Good stuff. They definitely evoke Cue cappa sets when I look at them. Do you think the Dominion style was an influence on whoever designed the Cue Cappa?

Awesome ships there man. Whenever that set is finished I will totally play with them in games no PBW.

Atrocities, nice ships. I also noticed that your ships have no apparent life-pods. I got to admire you for that do or die philosophy! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif
The color of the ships makes for good stealth missions through nebulas. They'll never know what hit them!
Cheers!

Gem'hadar would never consider abandoning the ship. Now, the Vorta onboard might, so they would probably have 1 or 2 small escape pots. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif
