Leader of the Vulcans?

Does anyone know the name of the position of the leader of the Vulcans?

I know they have a "high-council".

I would think someone is the "head" of the "high-council" and if so what is the name of that position?

Wasn't it the 4th ST movie, where they had to bring Spock back to the homeworld to seperate his mind from Bones'. the name and title of the High priestess/whatever is mentioned at the end of that, iirc. I watched ST all the time, but never got "silly" about it. i just enjoyed the show. I didn't memorize the episode names, or go to the conventions dressed as a klingon, but, I rarely missed it when it was on. matter of fact, it's really the only show I miss not having any tv stations here. but the cost for sattelite just so I can watch star trek? naw, that would be silly.

I am fairly sure the head of the Romulan senate is the Praetor. As for the leader of the Vulcans, im not sure.

I think the Vulcan leader is a Matriarch. Remember the original series episode "Amok Time", in which Spock has to go to Vulcan to meet his wife, and Kirk and Spock have to fight each other to the death? The Vulcan leader was named T'Pau, and she was part of the Vulcan high counsel. I could be wrong, though.
