Who has a link to the download of the No AI Mod? Both a Gold and a Non-Gold Version would be appreciated. I could not find it on PBW, or on Shrapnel.

The No AI mod has never been made available for download, because it only has to be installed on the PBW server to be used.
The only time anyone else needs it is when a host wants to run turns offline. Hosts who need it for that purpose have to ask Geo to send them a copy.
The "AI_None" mod, which is available in the PBW File Library, is a different mod entirely, and outdated (it's a pre-Gold mod).

i have a copy of the AI_None mod that i have updated to work with gold. i believe that it is attached to the latest (2.1?) Version of the junkyard mod. or you can just download the old Version, and edit a few files.

Actually I posted the 1.78 Version of the No AI mod in the Shrapnel Scenario/Mod forum back in November of '02. In case anyone wanted it for PBEM games or to incorporate it into their mod.

I did post this a long time ago. But I can't find the link. Probably got lost in the changeover Shrapnel did a while back.

And also in None_AI_Fleets.
Ok... I am trying to get this thing to work here, but I can't get the AI to stop moving ships around. I think it might ahve to do with the new gold line in AI_Fleets or something. Any suggestions?

You can't get the AI to stop moving ships around. At least I have never have been able to. Has nothing to do with fleets.txt that I am aware of. That only controls whether or not the AI uses fleets and hom many ships go in it, not whether the AI moves the fleets or indivivudal ships around.

Honestly I have now clue. The fleets file is one thing I never could figure out. I made no changes to it for the No AI Mod. If anyone has some knowledge of how that file works and has some suggestions for limiting AI changes I'd be happy to incorporate them to the No AI Mod.

His does not fully work. It is missing some things from several files that would cause the AIs to read the default files instead. I was working on fixing that, but I can't get the AIs to stop moving ships around. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
