Boarding party + Physical strength

Here is a question: Does a races physical strength effect its boarding parties? It makes sense to me it would http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Not sure if this has been asked before, I didn't see anything obvious when I searched..

No, it does not. Physical Strength only affects Ground Combat.
