Can I get a discount for SEIV GOLD? I have the first CD when it frist came out and I'll hate to pay for the same game twice without a discount.
I remember a discount here at one time.
Can you help me?
Thanks.

That is a good question.
Since Richard has retired, I haven't seen anyone else like him around here.
You should email Shrapnel/GamersFront, and ask.
Be sure to post here to let the rest of us know!

There used to be a way to get a discount by sending in a piece of the original CD ... I'm not sure what the current deal is, but Shrapnel will let you know, unless someone here knows.

WOW!!! Richard no longer hear, so who is in charge?
I remember breaking the CD and mailing it thing. allways had a vision of some postal worker getting their hands cut up http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif
I think I'll just send the CD as is.
I'll try E-mail them and see what they say.
Thanks

The original rebate offer expired a long time ago (I think it Lasted for about 6 months after Gold came out).

And, broken CDs are not that sharp, and you can just run the edge along some pavement to dull it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

I was so happy with Gold I did't send my rebate http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
But my wife was furious and cut that amount from my allowances http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

The rebate offer expired June 4, 2002.
(I still have the form; I use it as a bookmark in the manual.)

OK... thanks.
Looks like I'll have to order it without a discount. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif
Never hurts trying to find out if you can get one. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Thanks for posting this question, Cola.
I'm just about to purchase the Gold Version myself, probably to the shock/relief of other members here... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I don't tell the wife because she gets that look (and all married men know what THAT look means) when I try to buy a game over $20. Not that it doesn't stop me, but it saves less arguing if I don't tell her every time I order a game through the mail that costs as much this game does.

Some people place way too much value on 10-15 dollars.
