I normally see the game log showing "Uploaded game turn (fill-in-the-name)" or "Emailed game turn (fill-in-the-name)". Or words to that effect.
However I see a new one that says, "Realtime uploaded game turn (fill-in-the-name)".
I suspect geo knows what it means. But, my curiosity will be satisfied by anyone who can explain what this means http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Realtime uploaded means they used the PBW Real-Time-Client to upload the game.

Kewlness! I'll check it out. I'll take a guess at what it means...that you can configure so that when you finish your turn it loads automatically to the PBW site and game?

But downloads the turn and opens the game for you. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

The only downside is that if you get disconnected, your game will close. This can be frustrating if you have some time invested in the turn.

Well possibly losing a turn is a concern. I have cable and the network in our house is completely on an UPS. So, we get about 10 minutes of power and cable (the hub and cable modem plugged into the UPS, too) even if the power goes out...which it did 2 nights ago during an electrical storm. (but sometimes, 10 minutes isn't enough time to finish a turn http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif )

Don't forget, while using PBW, you can manually download the files from your browser or have them e-mailed (just like PBEM).
