2 Questions: Animations? + SEV ?

I am new with SEIV and I am playing the Demo.
My questions:

1) In the Full-Version, are there any animations?
(rotating planets, flickering stars or any other simple and easy animation, that makes me think, that I am in a living universe?)

2) Is SEV comming?
I found no Information about a further developement of SE. But this game has IMO so much potential.

1: No animations. SEIV is just a very addicting game without very much eye candy.

2: The plan is for SEV to be out summer 2004.

Animations: Not really. There is a little animation in the stellar manipulation screens and I suppose you could count the weapons firing in combat, but otherwise, no.

SEV: Malfador have said they are aiming to release se5 in summer of 2004. That might be a little optimistic, who knows. In the meantime, take a look at www.malfador.com (http://www.malfador.com) and check out starfury- it's not se5 but it's how se5 might look.

Ok, no animatition but a great game, I can
live with this fact.

But STARFURY(thx for the tip!) looks realy very interesting! Where can I get more infos about SF?
Is there a forum for this new game?

It indeed looks like a very intersting game although i look forward to SEV more.
I will buy Starfury anyway since the game play is also interesting. Reminds me of Privateer
