Ok, during a combat that involves an ennemy colony light cruiser (I'm using the TDM mod) against a mine layer (small transport), both without weapons, the ennemy charges towards me (!), gets untop of me (!!) and disappear from the combat grid (!!!) before the end of the 10th turn.
Wow!
Did anyone seen this before?

I assume that the colony LC was on 'Ram' orders. Apparently the structure of your ship was stronger.

Ok, but his colony ship had no explosive charge. And somehow, I managed to be damaged at 83% while his ship died.
And if we now can ram without explosive charges, man I found myself some cheap suicide escorts!

You don't need Cobalt Warheads to ram. They will add to the damage, but without them, the calculation is based on ship mass and modified by ramming penalties found in "settings.txt".

Yes, no explosive is needed to ram.
The damage that was inflicted to the ships (83% to yours and fatal to the LC) was simply from the hulls crashing into each other. Please refer to the latest Star Trek movie for details... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif .
