In a game that just finished, my enemy placed ships between an incoming wormhole and a planet that was my target. My fleet ended its move one (or two...can't remember) sectors beyond him. Meaning I moved right "through" his waiting fleet.
He questioned me on how I could bypass his fleet. I explained that combat occured on so many phases in the month. And that the fleets needed to be in the same sector when that combat phase rolled around. He then asked why it was that you could never move past a fleet like that when it was waiting at a wormhole. I didn't have an answer for that question because I can't ever remember moving through a wormhole and NOT stopping on the other side when a fleet was there.
So, does anyone else have an explanation?
(tks)
