Simple newbie question:
I've found there is no status icon in planet info telling if threre is resupply depot on planet (may be I am just completely blind). I can look in facilities built on my planet, but what about allied planets? How to find, if I can resupply on allied planet?

You can turn on the planet labelling for your planets under the Empire Options (Crown).
As for allies, you can only see their resupply depots if you have a Military Alliance or Partnership.
There is also an Intelligence Project called Covert Recon which will tell you about a planet. This can be used on allies or enemies.

Also you can right click on the galaxy map and select "Resupply Depots" and it will highlight the systems that have resupply. Sorry this won't tell which planet but will tell you where some are needed.
The best way is as Slick said. Turn on the "show resupply depots" option. An "R" will appear at the bottom right of each planet with a resupply depot.
