Can someone explain to me why Hadrian took down SE Org? I honestly don't recall when this occured, or more importantly why.

So if someone would be so kind as to fill in the blanks I would be greatful.

I remember something 'bout hackers and frustration levels... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

However, Fang Tsu is trying to heading up a group that wants to restart it. At least I received an email stating so....

I wouldn't mind knowing too. I know this guy Fang Tsu runs it now, but he hasn't done anything.

Hadrian took it down after his activities were discovered, and he grew tired of dealing with the consequences.

From his own words (hope he won't mind being quoted here) :

"I've retired from the community for good. I no longer have any of my old shipsets on my computer, as I've lost all taste for the game."

No more details, sorry, the mystery remains...

The site was a good place to pick up news and other interesting topics. He had put a lot of work into it and I think he was feeling a bit under appreciated. A shame really because we all know that we all appreciate each others work even if we do not say so. I guess in this case,we should have said something about how we appreciated, or at least I did, his site.

SE Org will be, is missed.

He tried several times to evade the CIA but eventually it caught up with him....

Or, there was this secret back door where he was dealing with illegal pornography and the feds discovered it and shut it down....

Or, after hiding it for several months the site and his game playing was discovered by his wife and she threaten him that it was either her or the game site....

Or, ......

He is still here, I would think that he would have tired of the multiple account trolling by now.
