Hallo fellow SEIV nutcases! Wow, I haven't been here in quite a while. Not that I haven't been playing SEIV Gold like it's going out of style. Not at all. Heh.
I see a few familiar faces, Atrocities, Mephisto... Where's tampa_gamer? Has he finished the AI for the Drakol yet? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif
Just wanted to pop in and give a shot out to all my homies (though I'm not entirely certain what that entails). It's so cool to see that my shipsets have endured where I have not!
Is John Beech's site still up? And what the heck happened to Hadrian's site?!
Argh, lots of catching up for me to do it seems...

SE.org went down several months ago.
Universal Shipyards is still around, but it seems to lose more and more hosted ship sets with each new revision of the site. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

You ought to post the link for troopers site.
It wouldn't be some site (http://diesel2035.free.fr/index.htm) would it?

Hm, thanks for the info. I'll see if I can dig up Trooper's link. I've been to a few shipset sites and still haven't found several of Beech's older sets that I remember being so cool. I had a hard enough time just tracking down the handful of sets that I made.

Great, got it! That site's an IMPRESSIVE piece of work. Kudos to anyone/everyone responsible for that. There's a couple of sets up there that I don't even remember ever posting. How'd they do that?! Um, I better go make sure all my doors are locked... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif
Races, races, so many races, gotta get 'em all!

Hey Voidhawk, welcome back.
I really love your Ixaris shipset http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif . Would you mind if that gets added to Devnull Mod Gold? I am planning to do an AI for that (if I ever get around to it http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif ).
It would be a racial combo race (two racial traits that will give special crossover technologies). I was thinking religious/crystalline, but if you'd like to have that set use something else, that is fine with me also.

Would be nice to find just one big honking zip file that had all the SEIV races known to man included within so that one monster download could be performed..... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif

Hey Rollo. Sure, go for it! I'm sure the AI I put together for the Ixaris is rudimentary at best compared with what you guys can do with AI files now. ISTR spending more time on the speech file for them than anything else. Hehe.
The Eysk are still braindead too if you or anyone else wants to give them a go. I always wanted a snazzy AI for the Imperial Guard fleet, but since they're the race I always play in SP I just never bothered.
Uhh, yeah... Sorry for the Pokemon reference. I don't know what came over me. Won't happen again.

Voidhawk, I'm the guy who has commited the SOTAS site. I'm very busy since the begining of the week, because I have gone back to work.
Nethertheless, if you have made races that are not on the race dir, or that you would like to see hosted, just the zip files to me at : ebergbauer AT free.fr.
I'll try to add them as soon as I can.
see y@.
